Heiko Hoffmann is a German journalist, curator, lecturer and consultant. Currently, Heiko works as Director of Artist & Label Relations at Beatport. Previously he was the editor-in-chief of Groove magazine, an industry-leading electronic music magazine. Since graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, he has written for international publications such as Pitchfork, Spin and Sound & Recording (Japan) and hosted his own show on German public radio. Heiko has been a keynote speaker and panelist at festivals such as Sonar, MIDEM, ATP and ADE. In fall 2019 he curated the exhibition No Photos on the Dance Floor! Berlin 1989 -Today and co-edited the first photo documentation of the Berlin club scene that was released in 2020.
