M.A. Arts Politics Class of 2025
B.A. Theory and Practice of Cinema: Production Management, CSU Long Beach
Green is a multidisciplinary artist and writer primarily using photo and video to explore the intersections between the recent past and the near future. His work often features themes of community, queerness and comments on culture. Green received a B.A. in Cinema Studies and is trained as a film producer. His senior thesis was the first in the program’s history to be directed and produced, and written by a queer Black person. Green’s photo series “Juneteenth” was among the official selections for an inaugural exhibition at LA gallery Junior High. As an Art Politics fellow, Green will continue his 35MM photo-sonic study on worth paradigms in queer communities. His words can be found on Substack at “I Think My Boyfriend Hates Me!”.
