With over a decade of experience in the music industry, JESSICA MORTIME has become a Digital Marketing maven with proven results. The Brooklyn native graduated from Howard University with Summa Cum Laude honors and immediately launched her career at Roc Nation as a Social Media Manager. Jessica’s work creating unique digital content not only boosted the company’s social media following and engagement, but enhanced brand awareness and monetization for artists including JAY Z, Rihanna, J. Cole and more.

Mortime then transitioned to Sony Music Entertainment, where she served as a Digital Marketing Manager at Epic Records handling releases for global, chart-topping artists including Travis Scott, Ciara, and Yo Gotti, among others. During her tenure, she also managed digital campaigns for Future's DS2 album and Tamar Braxton’s Love and War album, both of which hit No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart.

In 2016, following a five year stint at Sony, Mortime founded a full service digital marketing agency, Socialosophy. Her agency specializes in creating and managing digital properties, marketing content, and social media engagement strategies as well as securing client partnerships. Under her own banner, she developed and still maintains the digital footprint for Toni Braxton, NE-YO and Hip-Hop icon Slick Rick, for whom she led the execution of the 30th-anniversary commemoration of the rapper’s iconic debut album, The Great Adventures of Slick Rick. Previous agency clients include: Miami Heat player Victor Oladipo, and Eric Bellinger, whose New Light album was nominated for ‘Best Progressive R&B Album’ in 2021.

Mortime previously held the position of Digital Marketing Director at Motown Records, strategizing and executing digital efforts for Offset, Quavo, City Girls, Ne-Yo, KEM, Diddy, and more. She is the brainchild behind Lakeyah’s ‘Minding the Business That Pays’ campaign, which was highlighted on Forbes.com and BET.com.
