CDI PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FUND
Donations to this fund allow CDI to greatly expand and deepen its commitment to professional development by providing students with programming that includes customized training, industry mentorship, professional artist and executive residencies, funding for experiential learning opportunities, resources, domestic and international entrepreneurship and networking events, and much more. It is designed to empower students, and provide funding to foster their personal and professional growth, and prepare them for long-term, real-world professional success as they assume leadership roles in a rapidly evolving music industry.
CDI CHAIR'S DISCRETIONARY FUND
Donations to this fund enable the ability to provide non-tuition support to students (via grants and awards), supports student initiatives and student led organizations and clubs, supports initiatives addressing social and community-based issues of opportunity and accessibility, supports student services such as food assistance, community gatherings, and interdepartmental and interdisciplinary collaborations within NYU, as well as capital purchases for essential classroom and facility needs, and alumni events and activities.
CDI SCHOLARSHIP FUND
Scholarships are awarded to students who find themselves facing financial hardship. Oftentimes, it is this additional funding that allows a student to continue in the program and complete their degree.
JAMES ANDERSON SCHOLARSHIP FUND
The James Anderson Scholarship Fund was established in Spring of 2022 to commemorate the service and retirement of CDI's first Chair, and founding faculty member, Jim Anderson. All proceeds will go directly to CDI students in need of financial support.
MADISON LOVE FUTURE FUND
Donations to this fund will support scholarships for high school students from around the world to attend our 4-week summer residency program.
We at CDI continually strive to provide the very best music industry education to students from around the world, and rely on the generosity of our donors to help make that happen. Your gift helps ensure that we can support our students at the highest level without the added stress of financial insecurity.
We thank you!
