David Leyva

David Leyva is a graphic designer and a prospective programmer who was born and raised in Queens, New York.  He went to CUNY Queens College for his undergraduate studies and has received his BFA in Graphic Design and he minored in Business and Liberal Arts. Throughout his educational career, he has created several works of design and animation such as advertisement posters, brand logos, and some 3D scenes and animations.

He is currently in his second and last year of ITP where is learning a lot of coding and programming languages, such as JavaScript, p5.js, and Arduino, so that he can preferably become a game designer once he finishes his master's degree, in which he plans to create and design video games with a focus in programming them. During his free time, David's favorite hobbies are watching TV and movies, listening to different music genres, playing video games, singing karaoke with friends, and doing some traveling.
