Ben Yee

In 2015, I co-founded a startup called The History Project with funding from The New York Times, AP, angels, and a new-ish incubator called Matter, which is now expanding from SF to NYC. Overall, it's been amazing nurturing a passion project into something very real. Been meeting lots of great folks, learning a ton, and recognizing the value of becoming an active alum. 

In short, The History Project is a pretty broad multimedia platform with probably too many potential use cases, so we continue to be super interested in usage and learnings. You could think of it as a Pinterest of emotional belongings for individuals/families or a hybrid somewhere between Dropbox, Ancestry, and Wikipedia for organizations or the public.
