Ziv Schneider
Resident Researcher, Class of 2015
Ziv is a New York based multi media artist and designer.
Her work combines old and the new and explores the use of experimental photography and virtual reality to narrate the past and raise questions about the future. It is focused on narratives around mystery, mortality and preservation, searching for new forms of storytelling and communication.
Currently a research fellow at the Economist Media Lab, where she is working on immersive editorial projects. Recently completed an artist residency at Specular Projects where she created and developed a project for National Film Board of Canada, as part of their “Interactive Haiku” collection. Co-founder of Wild Type Lab, bringing together artists and scientists to create together.
Her work has been exhibited and featured in several publications such as Wired,
Fast Company and Ha’aretz magazine.
