A stern college professor watches a YouTube video on how to tie a noose. The recent death of his wife was the last bit of proof he needed to cement his view that life is utterly capricious. His plans are interrupted by one of his students, a young stoner who had been delivering weed to his wife for months without him knowing. The superstitious young man becomes convinced fate has sent him to save his prof! In the tradition of Irish playwright Martin McDonagh, two mismatched minds peer into the unknowable with a life hanging in the balance.

After college, Andrew Brame dreamed of attending the Graduate Film program at New York University. Seeing no way to afford the cost of attendance, he enlisted in the United States Navy, hoping to fund his education by earning the G.I. Bill. He served six years in the Navy as a photojournalist, winning several awards for his coverage of humanitarian aid missions. In his final year in the Navy, Andrew was accepted to the Graduate Film program.
Andrew’s films have played in festivals across the country, winning several awards, including Best Student Film at both the New York International Film Awards and the Los Angeles Movie Awards. He is now working on his thesis in the Grad Film program at NYU.
