Synopsis: Upon receiving a job offer in the United States, a Chinese international student is forced to make a choice between retreating to her familiar background or stiffly forging her first step towards individuality during a video call with her parents.

Alianora Zou is a filmmaker born and raised in Shanghai China. She is recognized for her big sunny refreshing smile. Like her personality, her films always try to explore the purest and simplest kind of beauty and express them in the most touching and powerful way. Through her films, she hopes to help those who got lost in the triviality of life rediscover a feeling of passion and hope in their heart.
