Synopsis: Anna, a teenage, Vietnamese adoptee living in the Czech Republic is in the midst of unexpected pregnancy. In watching her older mother’s excitement at the prospect of becoming a grandmother and processing her trauma as an adoptee, Anna is consumed with guilt and shame knowing she wants to give up her baby by placing it a nearby BabyBox.

Born in Ho Chi Minh City and raised outside of Philadelphia, Gabriella Miko is an adopted Vietnamese-American female filmmaker. As a senior at NYU, Gabriella has been a part of multiple Tisch productions, serving as the Director of Photography for "Lapsed," the 2021 TV Bootcamp series, and most recently Director, Director of Photography, and multiple key roles on thirteen 35mm films shot in Prague, Czech Republic. She is currently a Production Intern at The Daily Show with Trevor Noah and in pre-production for her advanced thesis film.
