Sachin Dharwadker is an award-winning screenwriter and director based in New York City. A recipient of the 2015-16 Martin Scorsese Young Filmmakers Scholarship, Sachin graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts in 2016 with a BFA in Film & Television, and currently creates video content for Broadway.com while writing scripts and freelancing as a director in his spare time. His developing miniseries THE PRINCE OF HYDE PARK was selected for the 2017 Sundance Episodic Story Lab, where he received guidance from industry mentors like MASTER OF NONE's Lena Waithe and HBO's David Levine. His short film BREATHE IN BREATHE OUT was the recipient of a 2017 Sundance Ignite fellowship, and has screened at festivals around the world. THE ALTERNATIVE is Sachin's latest short film.
