Efe is a writer, director, producer, and editor based in Brooklyn, NY. She was born in Abuja, Nigeria and immigrated to New York City at the age of 5. Growing up, she honed her storytelling skills through writing short stories, poetry, and screenplays and acting in school theater productions. She received her BA in Media Studies from Pomona College in 2013. After that, she travelled the world for a year pursuing a passion project as a Watson Fellow. She then went on to write video content at Conde Nast Entertainment and co-produced an indie feature, which is currently in post-production. As a director, her work has screened at MoMA, NoBudge, and Cucalorus Film Festival.
