Emilija Gasic (eg2561@nyu.edu) is an award-winning Serbian filmmaker based in New York City. The films she wrote and directed have travelled the world through film festivals, with the most recent short The Wait winning a Jury Award at ProFIFest in Serbia and Audience Choice Award at IFFC in Cologne. Her feature film in development - 78 Days was presented at the first stage of Biennale College of Cinema in Venice. Apart from writing and directing, Emilija also does cinematography. Her recent work - Out Of Order (directors: Cameron & Brandon Laventure) screened at Screamfest Horror Film Festival and Workers Unite Film Festival. Emilija is a 2019 Nikon Storyteller Scholarship winner and a 2020 Volker Bahnemann Nominee for outstanding cinematography.
Alex Wiske (alw573@nyu.edu) is an award-winning filmmaker from New Haven, Connecticut. He won the top prize from the 2018 First Run Film Festival for producing Aquaculture. His short, Sheila, is currently in post-production, and he is developing Regicides, a limited series set in colonial New Haven. He is the co-founder of Istok Films.
