Four Tisch Drama alumni took home Tony Awards from the 73rd ceremony of the annual awards honoring excellence on Broadway, held June 9 at Radio City Music Hall.
In addition, Associate Arts Professor Michael McElroy, founder of Broadway Inspirational Voices, received a Tony Honors for Excellence in the Theatre.
Ali Stroker (class of 2009) made history as the first person who uses a wheelchair to be nominated for and win a Tony Award for her role as Ado Annie in the Broadway revival of the musical Oklahoma!.
