Design alumni Jane Cox ('98) and Regina Garcia ('00) have each been honored with USITT's 2025 Distinguished Achievement Awards.
The Distinguished Achievement Awards honor individuals who have established meritorious career records in specific fields of expertise in any area of design or technology in the performing arts or entertainment industry. Cox has received the Distinguished Achievement in Lighting Design & Technology, while Garcia has recieved the Distinguished Achievement in Scene Design & Technology. Each awardee will be featured in a special session presented by their corresponding Commission at USITT25.
