The Provincetown Theater will honor Doug Wright '87 (MFA, Goldberg Department of Dramatic Writing) and Michael R. Jackson '03 (BFA, Goldberg Department of Dramatic Writing)/ '05 (MFA, Graduate Musical Theatre Writing) at a special gala event on August 14th, 2021.
Wright will receive the fourth annual Provincetown American Playwright Award. Jackson will receive the inaugural Provincetown Theater Trailblazer Award, honoring "an artist who has pioneered new paths on the American stage." Read more on Playbill.
