Jeffrey Stolow

Jeff Stolow has worked as a Production Manager, Location Manager, and Assistant Director on feature films, documentaries, commercials and TV productions for over 25 years. He has worked as a Production Executive at 20th Century Fox, overseeing feature film production for several films, including Edward Scissorhands and Grand Canyon. Some of his production credits include The Thomas Crown Affair, US Marshals, X-Men, Midnight Run, The World According to Garp, Ishtar, Ghostbusters, and The Chosen. He has worked with many directors, including Elaine May, Martin Brest, George Roy Hill, Ivan Reitman, John McTiernan, John Boorman and Sidney Poitier.
Jeff has had acting rolls in City Below the Line, directed by Milton Moses Ginsberg, and Ishtar, directed by Elaine May. Jeff produced and directed babied behind bars; a documentary film examining the lives of five women incarcerated with their infant children at the Bedford Hills Correctional Facility, in Bedford Hills, NY. Prior to teaching at NYU Jeff taught location management to trainees at the Directors Guild of America training program. He is a member of the Directors Guild of America as a Unit Production Manager.
