Anton Gallegos
Academic Advisor, Dramatic Writing
Anton Gallegos (they/them) supports and advocates for students as the Academic Advisor in the Department of Dramatic Writing. They are originally from Chicago and studied Sociology at Middlebury College in Vermont. After graduating, they began advising high school students at schools in Chicago and soon New York City, primarily serving first-generation and underserved populations. With a desire to support the same students they have sent to college, Anton has transitioned into an advisor role at NYU and plans on pursuing a Master's in Social Work.
Outside of work, you can find Anton practicing pottery, leading writing groups with friends, cooking up elaborate vegetarian meals, and at concerts around Brooklyn.
