    Reece Daniels is an LA-based director who is drawn to stories and visuals that are bold, intense, and visually-driven. He has co-produced narrative shorts with Emmy®-winning producers, developed music videos for Tony®-nominated artists, and screened at numerous Academy Award®-qualifying film festivals and other prestigious festivals globally. His work has been selected for industry awards such as Berlin Commercial and Shiny Awards, and he's been interviewed by publications such as Directors Notes, Curation Hour, and Post Magazine. Reece is currently the managing director of Kairon Pictures and recently graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Film & TV Production.

  • Juan Duranas Molina

    Juan Pablo Duranas Molina

    Seeds for All!

    Juan Pablo Daranas Molina (Juampa) is a Cuban filmmaker based in New York City. Over a decade ago, Juampa started FILA20, one of the first independent production groups in Cuba (where independent media is banned). FILA20 has since relocated to New York City and its films have been screened in top festivals and online platforms, such as Venice, Sundance, Glasgow, Warsaw, New Orleans, Rooftop Films, HollyShorts, HBO New York Latino FF, Amazon Video, and Short of the Week. FILA20’s work also includes projects for renowned organizations like Galleria Continua, Louis Vuitton, MoMA, and The Bronx Museum of the Arts. While at New York University's Graduate Film Program, Juampa won Spike Lee's Film Production Fund, NYU HEAR US Awards, the NYU Purple List, and was selected for the NYU Production Lab Development Studio. Juampa was also chosen for the Berlinale Talents Guadalajara and the inaugural Sony Future Filmmaker Awards. Juampa is currently in post-production with his debut feature, DOMESTIC ANIMALS. His second feature as a writer-producer wrapped principal photography in Italy and is currently in post-production.

As a queer, mixed Filipino, and neurodivergent creator, she dreams of places magical(be that magic light and wonderful or dark and horrifying), and writes stories where abused and traumatized characters can work together to become better people, and make better worlds.

    Alyssa DiMartino is an Italian-American Writer/Director born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Her writing innately centers female and queer voices, and discusses topics of gender-disparity, violence against women, and the unavoidable trauma that binds itself to girlhood. In 2017, Alyssa began attending New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, and by 2020 she had graduated with a BFA in Film and a Minor in Child & Adolescent Psychology. Since then, she has worked in the entertainment industry as an Art-PA, Producer, and Production Designer. Inspired by the prospect of creating positive social change through art, Alyssa hopes to develop multi-dimensional, honest characters that help humanize those around us who we may struggle to understand.

    Nick Duffy was born at a very young age. Since 2nd grade he's always been interested in directing films and then in middle school developed a love of screenplay writing. He typically writes comedies and murder mysteries. He used to do drag before the pandemic. When he's not writing and directing he's typically on set as the king of continuity, most commonly known as script supervisor. He hates soup. His two favorite movies are Titane and Paddington 2.

    Eliz Erdal is a Turkish writer, director and editor currently based in New York City. She was born and raised in Turkey, where she's had a music and dance background from completing two Mersin University Conservatory degrees with a diploma of performing arts in ballet, and diploma of music specializing in flute performance. Turkey was where she started working on documentary projects as well as narrative films. Later she attended and graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in Film and Television Production with honors and Psychology with honors. She also holds double minors in Business of Entertainment, Media & Technology and Child & Adolescent Mental Health Studies. Eliz's work explores the human condition with all of its deep emotions, complexities and simplicities through a lens of curiosity and wonder.

    Aisha Ford is an award-winning filmmaker who strives to make films in hope of inspiring others like her to speak their truth. The art that she works on every day is her activism. It’s a space where she can dive into her own consciousness, and share her inner emotions and world perspective. Over the past few years, she has written and directed short films that have broadcasted on platforms such as the American Black Film Festival Independent TV series and screened at multiple film festivals across the country. During her time at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, she was the recipient of the Dean’s Fellowship, the Spike Lee Film Production Grant and the prestigious NYU Wasserman Award for her 2nd year short film “Royal.” She was also the recipient of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts HBO Scholarship. In 2019, she was chosen as one of the fellow MFAs to attend the Sundance Film Festival, on behalf of the BET Blackhouse Foundation. She followed with her short film, “Cherry Lemonade,” premiering at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival. In 2023, she was awarded the Haig Manoogian Production Award and the Roger King Finishing Award for her upcoming film “Brownies.” Aisha recently imparted her own experience into the writing and directing process for “As Early As Five” for Dove, which centers around Black women’s hair and navigating the lifelong discrimination that comes with hair politics.

    Thotti works at the frontier between trance and nothingness, the image and its oblivion, movement and remembrance, cinema and its expansion. South Atlantic dissolved in the world's skies. He is a Brazilian artist from Rio de Janeiro embedded and raised in the development of crossings between augmented forms of theory and senses and in finding through them new forms of articulating our relationship with the Earth and the skies in film, installation, and virtual reality. His work has been shown in many film festivals such as New Filmmakers New York and Paris Film Art Festival, screened in places such as Cannes Shortfilm Corner, and commissioned by international Biennials such as the 14th Shanghai Biennale: Cosmos Cinema.

    Nadia Fortini is an emerging director and writer working in New York City, Los Angeles and Warsaw. ​ She was born and raised in Warsaw, Poland, but moved to New York after receiving a scholarship at the Kanbar Institute of Film and Television at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where she earned her BFA graduating with full honors. ​ Nadia's first short film "Sen O Warszawie", starring polish actress Helena Englert, received critical acclaim from the public. Her second film "We Carry It Around" has won multiple awards at international film festivals and premiered at the Katra Film Series, playing at the Regal Cinemas in Times Square. Her newest film and NYU thesis "The Space Between" is currently in post-production. The film was produced by an all-female crew, something Nadia plans to implement more as she advances in her career. ​ Nadia's debut feature "Rusalki" is in development. ​ Additionally, Nadia enjoys other visual mediums such as studio art and photography. She is also a TikTok content creator with over 20k followers

    Born and raised in New Jersey, Maddy Freeman is a film director, producer, writer, and editor. Maddy is a graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where she earned a B.F.A. in Film and Television Production, with a double minor in Business of Entertainment, Media and Technology and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Studies. Maddy has directed multiple award-winning short films. Among her most recently recognized films are "Driving Her Away" (2021), "Appetite" (2020), and "Because I Love Him" (2019). She recently finished her newest short film, her NYU thesis film "He Made His Bed", and is now working on her debut feature. Since she was in high school, Maddy has been creating commercials, documentaries, montages, and short videos for local and international clients and corporations, in addition to her many creative projects, including narrative short films and web series. Maddy was recently brought on to direct a short narrative film for Hooked, which is available to stream on their platforms.     Jennifer Greco, UG

    Esmeralda

    Jennifer is a director graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, her Latin roots are her biggest inspirations for storytelling. Her work focuses on minority communities and stories centered on social-cultural awareness, and women's empowerment. Jennifer was selected as part of The SHOOT 2023 New Directors Showcase, and her most recent work Esmeralda has been selected to many acclaimed festivals including the Student Academy Awards, Flicker’s, Female Eye Film Festival, Catalina Film Festival, Evolution Mallorca, BogoCine, among others. Her NYU’s intermediate short film “Cat Person”, has been selected to over 15 film festivals worldwide and has received multiple awards. Jennifer has a wide range of experience working in the industry from Showtime, Fox, PRG, London Alley, and Gro Creative. She has also coordinated the Brandi Carlile IMAX live stream, the Ralph Lauren Spring Fashion Show 2023, and Candy Crush Commercial featuring Saweetie and the Jonas Brothers. Most recently, she produced the Sueños Music Festival, one of the biggest Latin music festivals in the US. Jennifer is currently working on developing a documentary centered on entrepreneur women from third-world countries.
